Koreans Spend $40.5 on Mobile Phone a Month

Korean mobile phone users ranked 4th in terms of monthly mobile phone tariff among Asia-Pacific nations, according to Telecoms Korea.

"According to data released by the organizing committee of ITU Telecom Asia 2004, an average Korean paid $40.5 a month to mobile carriers, which is the 4th highest figure among 13 nations. Japan ranked the 1st place followed by Australia and Singapore".
