Magic Messenger goes live next week

BT's new phone and service called Magic Messenger - that will allow their subscribers to send and receive texts from their home phone - goes live next week, according to Pocket Gizmo.

Messages can be sent to any network or other landline including NTL and Telewest and received from most UK carriers - now or within the next couple of months.
