Kill Your Mobile Device

Coin-Operated reports on a project called Bubl Space which supposedly blocks all mobile phone signals around you to give you some quiet space without the annoying chatter of phone callers.

However, when you check out their website and click on Buy Now, you're hit by the following disclaimer:

Thank you for your interest in BuBL Space. Unfortunately, the BuBL Space device is not available. It would be illegal to advertise, sell or use it.

However, a working device is being demonstrated as an art project at World-Information.org, at the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam, from 15 November 2002 until 15 December 2002.
