Concert rocks with wireless messaging

Wireless messaging will be a featured performer at Saturday's Coors Light Mountain Jam at Red Rocks in Colorado, reports Wireless Week.

"Audience members to send text messages, shout-outs and picture messages as well as participate in polling and trivia all via a jumbo screen on the stage.

Trivia questions will be asked about Ludacris and other features artists at the event. Audience members will have the chance to text message their answer via short code and receive a response.

Texters also will be able to send text and picture messages to artists as well as fellow audience members, says Craig Shapiro, Proteus' director, wireless services. Although messages will be filtered for inappropriate content, they will still be delivered in real time."
