A Personal Operator From Verizon

Verizon plans to offer a service that would act as a virtual switchboard operator, letting customers stay in touch at all times. The program would send phone calls, voicemails and e-mails to wherever customers designate, according to Wired.

"For example, customers could use the application to transfer calls made to their homes during working hours to their office or cell phones. Or, calls could be transferred to voicemail, which itself could be played on a PC, a handheld or another phone."
