More enterprise-ing SMS apps

An interesting article from the Malaysia Star on two new SMS business aplications developed by Maxis Communications.

"SMS Campaign Manager, a web-based application, allows companies to communicate with their customers using SMS messages. Unlike mere SMS broadcasts however, replies from customers can be tabulated and summarised for analysis. 

With Direct SMS, organisations can build or extend their own applications to send and receive SMS messages. 

This enables certain events, such as a customer transaction, to trigger the system, which will automatically send the relevant SMS".
