Text message voting comes to stand up comedy, according to an article in USA Today.

"Tuesday, NBC's Last Comic Standing 2 becomes a public contest. Through phone calls, text messaging and the Internet (at VoteNBC.com), the public gets a chance to vote on the comic performances, ultimately deciding who's the funniest of all."
