Current Issues In Electronic Discovery
A very interesting article from Mondaq which is a must read for any corporation or employee, on discoverable electronic data used as admissable evidence in court. The article adresses digital data - active or stored on hard disks e-mail, I.M, and one court case where SMS was used as evidence; In State v. Voorheis , "…the computer forensic examination recovered text from 'instant messaging' conversations..." [State v. Voorheis , 844 A.2d 794 (Vt. 2004)]
