Ericsson offers live chat to baseball fans

bluejays.jpg In an interactive television collaboration, Ericsson Canada and solutions provider MyThum Interactive Inc. will offer live-to-air text message programming on Rogers Sportsnet's Jays in an Hour show, according to the Globe and Mail.

"Beginning Friday, Toronto Blue Jays fans will be able to use text messaging on their mobile phones to interact live on the new Sportsnet Jays in an Hour show.

Jays in an Hour highlights the game's best moments and, through text messaging, lets fans become an integral part of the show. Throughout the hour, viewers can use their mobile phones to send in their reactions, opinions and commentaries on the evening's game for display on the Sportsnet ticker."
