SMS Head Hunting

Hudson, a leading global provider of recruitment and human resource consulting services, has announced a pilot service using SMS as a new recruiting channel, according to a company press release.

Job applicants upon seeing a job advertisement on the paper will be able SMS in a job-specific code. The SMS service will then automatically send the job profile and online application pack directly to candidate's email address, so that when he/she logs onto her email account next, he/she will find the list of all the requested jobs.

In addition, he/she has the option to request a call-back by a recruitment consultant via SMS. These call-back requests are routed to the relevant Hudson personnel's email(s) in real-time.
