Report Snatch Thefts Via SMS

Deputy internal security minister Chia Kwang Chye of Kuala Lumpur announced an SMS service allowing members of the public to report snatch theft cases to the police, reports sinchew.

"His ministry recently allowed the public to enquire the status of their traffic summonses via SMS, adding that the same system could be applied to the reporting of snatch thefts".
