World's first mobile magazines launched

Sendandsee LLC - a Finnish corporation, that focuses on distribution of visual content to mobile end-users - announced that it has gone into commercial production with the world's first mobile magazines, reports Mobile Monday via near near future.

The three magazines are: WHOPLA! – a weekly celebrity magazine, RIENTO! – a weekly sports magazine, and ROCsport.mob – a weekly extreme sports magazine.

The magazines are published using Sendandsee's proprietary mobile publishing technology [SMPP-Sendandsee Mobile Publishing Pack], and are currently available for Symbian and Series 40 mobile handsets.

The contents of the magazines come from the world's leading news- and image agencies, and are selected, edited, and produced by professional editorial teams.

The magazines also enable advanced visual personalization of the end-users' handsets.
