T-Mobile Germany launches mobile Tour de France services
T Mobile Germany offers special mobile services during the Tour de France to its users, including a mobile live ticker and SMS/MMS info services, according to Telecom Paper (pay-for-subscription).
"The "live ticker" will provide information on the intermediate results and current events on the route during the stages. The news will be updated every five to ten minutes.
The "T-Mobile Team" menu option contains all you need to know on T-Mobile cyclists, including their personal details, short biographies and photos. In addition, a tour diary, the history of the team as well as its achievements up to 2003 and details on cyclists' tasks in the T-Mobile Team will be available.
T-Mobile customers who own an MMS-enabled phone will be able to obtain information from now on until July 25 via "MMS News", with informative picture messages on the individual days of the contest."
