Inmates and mobile phones

Marc Frauenfelder comments on an amazing article in The New York Times about inmates using mobile phones in prison.

"Totally against the rules of course. Sounds like the use of contraband mobiles is rampant. One guy was caught flushing his phone down the toilet, and when prison workers took apart the plumbing, the found other phones in the trap too. And one inmate's mother complained to the warden about the poor reception in the prison."
