Just a kwickee
The Red Ferret Journal reports on yet another general mobile "Ask Experts" service, Kwickee Bitesize.
In their own words:
"Compelling bitesize information delivered when and where you need it most...in the palm of your hand. You will be able to access reference, fiction, adult and topical information covering categories that span a wide variety of interests.
The unique element of Kwickee Bitesize is that anyone is able to register and contribute Bitesize - subject to complying with the information contained within our guidelines.
Thousands of writers - professional, amateur or enthusiasts on a particular subject - will be providing tens of thousands of Bitesizes for the Kwickee Guide database".
As I have mentioned before, this is very much along the same idea as the "Ask Experts" sites which appeared on the Web a few years ago, many of which are still online today, where Internetters can ask live people to answer difficult questions and receive a reply by e-mail such as on Expert Central, or by consulting a forum such as the NY Times' famous, Abuzz. A fabulous concept made possible by the Internet, harnessing the knowledge of thousands.
