3D cell phones

Sharp has put a 3D display (no glasses need) into two cellular telephones for NTT DoCoMo, according to PC World, in an interesting article on 3D technology.

"Combined sales of the handsets have passed the 1 million mark, Yasushi Yamamoto says. That's pretty impressive for a 3D device, although he admits it is impossible to know how many people bought the phones because of the 3D screen and how many people are using the 3D content. The telephones came with two Java games that make use of the 3D mode".
