Mobile phones prohibited in polling stations in India

The Collector, Atul Anand, of Theni District, on Saturday said candidates and party functionaries should not use mobile phones in polling stations, according to The Hindu.

"Addressing an all-party meeting here, he appealed to political parties to extend full cooperation with the district administration for conducting free and fair polls."
