The Noble Prize SMS Quiz Master
Text messaging has definitely acquired a patent of nobility (in French lettre de noblees) as Malaysian science fans can participate in The Nobel Prize SMS Quiz Master challenge, where the grand prize winner will get a 10-day all-expenses-paid trip to Stockholm, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark, according to Star Tech Central.
"The trip will also take the winner on a tour of the Nobel Museum and allow him or her to experience the prestigious 2004 Nobel Prize Award Ceremony in Stockholm on Dec 10.
The challenge has been launched in conjunction with The Nobel Prize Centennial Exhibition, jointly organised by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and the National Science Centre.
It is intended to draw interest from the local public on the various Nobel Laureates' scientific contributions, as well as encourage and inspire youths to strive for excellence in science".
