Italian Judge rules "no more cell phones"

A judge in the Italian city of Vicenza has banned two men who abused their ex-girlfriends by telephone and SMS messaging from using mobile phones again, according to evening daily Star of Mysore, ["Crank callers stripped of their mobiles" - March 26].

"The men, aged between 25 and 30, had both been dropped by their girlfriends but drove them to desperation by bombarding them with phone calls and offensive messages.

Judge Paolo Pecori ruled that Italy's mobile phone companies should prohibit the two men from subscribing to their services".
