Orange Switzerland ATM pre-paid recharging to replace scratch cards
Mobile operator Orange in Switzerland has announced the introduction of a new mobile phone recharging service through the country's post offices, according to a company press release.
"From May this year, Orange mobile users with Yellow accounts will be able to feed their recharge cards into the terminals through post office counters just like a normal credit card. By using this service, Orange customers will no longer be obliged to purchase pre-paid cards every time they recharge their account.
The service, which will eventually replace the scratch card, will be available at over 2000 post offices and more than 650 train stations.
Just a couple of days ago, the Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest offered their customers the option to recharge their mobile phones from the bank's cash machines. cf Banks' cash machines to offer top-ups for mobiles.
