TB public awareness campaigns in India

India Inc. has joined hands with the government to eradicate tuberculosis (TB), in line with a similar initiative against AIDS in Africa, reports New Kerala.com.

"Under the alliance, India Inc. will undertake public awareness campaigns -using new communication tools like SMS to inform and educate - ensure infected people undergo regular and timely treatment and take medication under the TB control strategy of the World Health Organisation."
