Mobile coverage in Sophia metro

Bulgarian mobile operator M-Tel has announced that its subscribers can now use their phones while traveling on the metro in the capital city, Sofia - the first time such a system has been used in the country according to DMeurope, and one of the first European subway systems to provide complete mobile connections.

Early March, the London Underground was holding talks with the four main mobile operators - Orange, O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile - to allow mobile phones to be used on the Tube network in London.
