Can Regulators Can Mobile Spam?
With the "do-not-call" list up and running, the government is now trying to champion spam. The Can-Spam Act became a law at the end of 2003, and now the FCC has been called on to formulate rules to control the spread of spam on mobile phones, according to Wireless Week.
"The commission has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking in order to gather public comment on how best to protect business and consumers from getting spammed on their wireless phones".
