European operators to see 7.5 per cent growth in 2004

European mobile operators are expected to see a revenue increase of 7.5 per cent in 2004, according to a new report from technology consultants Arthur D. Little (ADL), and independent brokerage Exane, reports DMeurope.

"Despite an estimate that MMS handsets accounted for 40 per cent of all handsets sold in 2003, this report states that SMS will represent the bulk of operators' data revenues until 2006".
