Mobile Guardian manages cell phone usage

Wireless Week reports on a Web-based usage tool, Mobile Guardian, which allows parents or businesses to manage wireless phone usage.

"Mobile Guardian uses Intelligent Networking to enable users to set usage parameters for phones under a given wireless plan. From a business side, Mobile Guardian enables corporations to set monthly allowances and see employees' wireless voice usage and data access.

On the consumer side, the platform is geared toward families who want to control their children's wireless usage. The platform offers parents the ability to set "always available" and "never accessible" phone numbers and usage times.

Businesses and parents also can use Mobile Guardian to restrict content access".
