Y TEXTING MAYBE BAD 4 U

Some professors have spoken out on how text messaging is hurting their student's writing abilities or speaking skills, but this is the first time I've read e-mail and text messaging are affecting the communication skills of business people.

Standards of spoken and written communication in the world of work are being "destroyed" by the use of emails and text messages, according to a new report, written up by SkyNews:

"Three out of five of the 100 directors polled by consultants the Aziz Corporation said the increased use of technologies such as email had been detrimental to spoken communication skills. "Sadly, we are witnessing a decline in the overall level of communications skills within business", according to Chairman Khalid Aziz.
