3GSM's more startling innovations

Engadget reviews some of the oddities presented at the 3GSM trade show in Cannes, last week.

The Encyclo-phone, which has the entire Encyclopedia Brittanica stored on it;

The X-PandaCam, which can project a slideshow onto a wall from as far as 10 meters away;

The Nippit 300, A special chip for cell phones from Prophy-Lectric that can project a ultrasonic beam that supposedly kill any sperm within a range of 18 feet and is supposed to be used as a form of birth control. Say again? .

And Naked Truth has compiled it's own list of more startling innovations:

The Defenderfone, with a 200-volt stun gun and a design reminiscent of "Star Trek" "phaser" weapons;

A handset from Swiss watchmaker Silvain Tronck that not only wakes up its user with an alarm but helps him or her drift off to sleep with a repertoire of more than 100 lullabies.
