SounderCover - hide behind sound, make it your alibi
Smart Mobs reports on a newly released mobile application called Soundercover - for Nokia Series 60 phones - that allows a user to add background sounds to phone calls so that one can pretend to be somewhere else -- like caught in traffic, at the dentist...
This comes after an earlier story posted in Picturephoning.com a few days ago, about another alibi application for 3 G phones that would allow owners to select the background of their choice before answering a call, suggesting that such an option might allow a husband who is in a bar to answer the call with a photograph of the office in the background. cf Video phones may change to let cheating spouses off the hook.
