Pay traffic fines through mobile phones

Long queues thronging the narrow corridors of the sprawling Abu Dhabi police departments are set to disappear as the Ministry of Interior is turning to the Internet and mobile phones to provide services to the public, according to The Gulf News.

"Drivers wishing to renew their licences or car registration, pay traffic fines or enquire about traffic offences, and those applying for a new licence can now do so by just clicking on the buttons of their computers or their mobile phones".
