ĞEasy Mobileğ : Stelios plans 'no frills' mobile

Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the tycoon behind the easy group of companies, is planning to launch a "no frills" mobile phone service in Britain to undercut the prices of the established operators, according to The Independent.

"Mr Haji-Ioannou said the easy mobile phone was a year from launch because he was still in discussions with the existing operators about a network-sharing agreement.

To keep costs down, the easy mobile phone could be sold on the internet and might only be available as a pre-pay package, said Mr Haji-Ioannou."
