Fake SMS Message CReated HAvoc in Indian Telecom Office
Indian telecom operator BSNL was caught red-faced, after a series of false SMS messages users phones came in, hinting BSNL giving in doles Rs 150 talk time free to its prepaid mobile phone customers, reports Times of India.
This created a chain reaction of sorts with geometrical increase in the number of such messages across the country. Each BSNL mobile user had supposedly sent this message to at least five or more and the latter had repeated the same which created a network of false SMS messages.
