Britons 'make 132m mobile calls a day'
Britons collectively make 132 million mobile phone calls a day, according to research by BMRB who questioned 1,001 people by telephone between October 10 and 12, according to Ananova.
"The study found a quarter of the country's 38 million mobile users spend around an hour a day on their phone, while just under 3% say they spend up to five hours talking or texting.
Women text more than men, with 37% saying they use their mobile mostly for texting, compared with 25% of men".
