Drivers face mobile phone fines
A ban on using mobile phones while driving comes into force on Monday, with UK drivers facing an instant £30 fine, reports the BBC.
The Evening Post on Saturday posted some suggestions to help drivers keep their hands on the wheel:
-- You can set different ring tones for individual callers so you can decide whether you want to stop the car and take the call.
-- You can put a message on all mobile phones telling a caller you are driving and that you will be able to call them back later or at a specified time. cf Ringtonia.
