Man faces year in jail for insulting a woman's modesty by SMS

A man in Singapore, who allegedly sent 21 SMS messages to a former colleague, was charged in court this week with insulting her modesty, according to The Straits Times.

The maximum punishment for insulting a woman's modesty is one year's jail and a fine.
