Cell Phones and Designers Unite to Raise Money for AIDS
See My SMS, Paris based creative content company run by Alexandra de Waresquiel, in a fund raising event to benefit AIDS association, "Ensemble Contre le Sida" (United against AIDS), has launched a collection of images to be downloaded onto cell phones at a premium rate. The images were created by many of today's most famous designers; Kenzo, John Galliano, Christian Lacroix, Paul Smith, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Ines de la Fressange, Angelo Tarlazzi, Emanuel Ungaro, amongst others.
To participate, (European) mobile users should type in the code next to the artwork they chose from on the See My SMS «designers united against AIDS» page, and send it off to short code 81010.
The cost of the MMS image is 3 euros (around $ 3.-), 50 percent of which will benefit the AIDS Association.
I've written about this company before. It's one of my favorites as it is single-handedly raising the level of content - artistic and litterary - for cell phones. For more on See My SMS past projects, see posts in Textually.org:
