Political slogans sent out by SMS

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is preparing to launch a high-tech campaign in the forthcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, India, according to the Hindustan Times, including devising slogans to be transmitted through SMS and e-mails in the run up to the elections.

"Role of technology is going to be multiple times more than in the past. About 60 out of the 200 Assembly seats in the State are urban-oriented and small SMS messages and e-mails would be quite effective," said Sunil Bhargava, BJP's campaign in-charge."
