Mobile phones 'make you senile'
Mobile phones and new wireless technology could cause a "whole generation" of teenagers to go senile prematurely, according to research conducted by Sweden's Lund University.
"The study - financed by the Swedish Council for Work Life Research, and published by the US government's National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences - breaks new ground by looking at how low levels of microwaves cause proteins to leak across the blood-brain barrier", according to an article published in News Independent via Smart Mobs.
I wonder if there was any consideration in the study with regard to the fact that in many countries where voice calls are expensive, teenagers use their cell phones mostly for texting, not talking.
