A portable solar bag to recharge cell phone batteries

Twenty one year-old Swiss born Markus Gisler, has invented a portable solar bag called the "Sunny Walker, which recharges cell phone batteries as well as batteries for other mobile devices such as PDAs, gameboys, video cameras, ... Approached by Nokia and Siemens, he has turned them down, refusing to sell out to a big corporation.

So far he's sold 1000 pieces, from his own website Megasol as well as from the panda Shop of the WWF. He was interviewed in Swis e-zine Largeur.com.
