Rocket Dog: A publishing house for mobile phone games
Two of Scotland's top technology entrepreneurs, Kevin Bradshaw and Jim Woods, will launch the world's first publishing house for mobile phone games on Monday, called Rocket Dog, at the Edinburgh International Games Festival
The Dundee company plans to release one mobile phone game every month. It will differentiate itself from other providers by guaranteeing the quality of its games.
If successful, Rocket Dog will make Scotland a key player in the mobile gaming market. Jupiter, the market research consultancy, forecasts that the industry will be worth £1bn in Europe alone by 2007, just behind the market for ringtones and logos. , according to Scotland on Sunday.
