SMS craze gaining steam in Canada thanks to reality TV, contests

Here is a story in Canoe which contradicts an article written 7 days ago in The Globe and Mail on a study which claimed Canadians were not embracing text messaging. Canoe claims SMS "has soared in popularity in the two years it's been widely available and has now evolved from a novelty service in North America to a legitimate form of communication".
