In the UK, Complaints about text scams skyrocket
The independent watchdog, ICSTIS has reported an eight-fold rise in the number of complaints about services promoted by text message which con users into phoning premium numbers, according to the BBC.
See related article in News.com reporting that more than two thirds of UK mobile customers have received spam on their handsets.
