Women text more than men

According to a survey conducted by the Mobile Data Association UK, 74% of women say they have used text messaging in the last two minutes compared with just 26% of men. 42% of the women questioned described texting as a way of sharing a popular interest with their children. Per an article in the BBC. And 51% declared that they would rather receive a text message than a card on special occasions, according to 160 characters.org
