«Thumbtop» keyboard

Artist/engineer/inventor Wayne Young's "Thumbtop" keypad is an idea (no prototype to show yet) that is meant to take the cramps out of texting (see articles related to SMS and RSI in textually.org). "It sits on top of the screen, where it can be manipulated comfortably by the thumb of the hand holding the device, it would either use regular buttons or come as a touchscreen keypad".
