Prayer time by SMS offered in the Maldives

Maldives telecoms company Dhiraagu offers prayer times through text messaging. The operator's subscribers need only to register for the free service and send an SMS to a designated short code with the words "PRAYER".

The Pope himself is spreading the word through Italian cellular operators with a pay-for-text messaging service in which he sends subscribers a thought for the day or a prayer by SMS.
