«Confidence Plan» for the hearing impaired in India
In following up on what cellular operators are doing to help the deaf or hearing impaired, according to an article in The Statesman, in India, mobile operator Airtel offers a service called «Confidence Plan», for the hearing impaired in which subscribers can send and receive unlimited SMS messages for Rs 399 ($ 8.50) per month.
