70% increase in threatening behaviour by SMS

bully.gifText messages now account for more than half of the threats of violence or intimidation recorded in The Lothians (Scotland), and have been largely responsible for a massive rise in threatening behaviour being reported to the police over the last 12 months, according to the Edinburgh News. Cases being reported to police range from serious examples of criminal intimidation to school bullying.
