Magazine offers text alerts to increase customer interaction

EMAP, one of the UK's leading media companies, is introducing a range of SMS text messaging services for its biking magazines, to increase customer interaction and brand loyalty. By giving readers the chance to send text messages to the editors, they can express their views and opinions on topics or editorial content, according to 160characters.org.

EMAP is a big believer in SMS as a marketing tool for their magazines, as reported in textually.org, both Nintendo Official Magazine (NOM), and celebrity gossip magazine Sneak are offering text alerts.
