Al jazeera Launches SMS News Alerts

Arab satellite channel Al Jazeera has launched a breaking news alert service by SMS, in English and Arab, in 130 countries. To sign up, connect to Al Jazeera Mobile Service. You can opt to pay monthly by credit card or have the cost of each alert billed directly to your mobile phone ($ 5.99 a month).
