Flight Check by SMS

According to an article in the BBC, reported in favorite SMS bookmark SMS: Business Gets the Message (a gold mine of SMS applications -- check them out, you won't be sorry), Bristol International Airport is offering a new Text message service with information on flight delays and arrival times.

The information available is whether a flight is arriving more than 15 minutes before or after the scheduled time, if it is cancelled and when it has landed.

People register online and receive up to three messages about the flight they are interested in.
