SMS Chess, names mobile game of the year

SMS Chess, a multiplayer SMS game, developed by Purple Software and published by Sony Ericsson, has been named mobile game of 2002 at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA).

The game is described in Wireless Gaming Review as an amusing, challenging and colourful gaming experience, regardless of players' skill levels.
